Ronin Warriors - WIP

An original design I came up with before my journey into digital art. The culture and history around samurai has always intrigued me and learning about Yasuke, the African samurai warrior, made me want to draw my own. The original sketch was not necessarily my favorite but there was a lot I liked about it. I made it once in digitally in black and white. I decided once I graduated I wanted to do it in color, but I wanted a new pose for them, and to redesign the armor. The fine details in the front facing warrior will be added soon enough and the rear facing one will be painted in his cape and other cloth. More updates will be added and are soon to come with this and two other pieces I'm currently working on.
