Commission- Nailed by V

A piece commissioned last year for a small nail business named "Nailed by V". The client wanted a design that related more to her clientele as she seres more African American women, and is one herself. She also wanted a change in hand pose, and overall positioning, nail design, as well as the typography.
The hands took me the longest to complete. They were drawn and painted by me using Photoshop. I couldn't find a pose I liked or that worked well with the "V" as the centerpiece of the image.. I did eventually find one when I began to use references for the hand pose and different nail designs from Pinterest. Regrettably at the time I didn't think to save. In the future I'll be more vigilant about this to better give credit where it's due. The type was done in the Elina Decor font with the emboss layer effect applied.
